If you own a 2007-2009 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, Silverado, GMC Sierra, or Yukon then JASPER’s latest offering of a Remanufactured GM Gen IV 5.3L Class-1 DOD/AFM Delete Engine is for you. This new engine uses cylinder deactivation as a fuel economy measure. After customer complaints of excessive oil consumption, lifter failure, and cam failure on the original engine JASPER decided to offer an engine that will solve these problems. In addition, this new engine option provides up to 53 additional horsepower and 20 extra lb-ft of torque. This engine is covered by nationwide, transferable parts and labor warranty of up to 3-years, or 100,000-miles.
